~ Chamberlane ~

Chamberlane was a 5 member rock band that called Charlottetown PEI home. In November 2002, they began writing; rehearsing and recording their first CD, "Chamberlane" The band released the album in July 2003. The album was produced by former Haywire member, David Rashed. The band kept up a busy schedule of gigs promoting their album throughout the Maritimes, Ontario and Quebec which has resulted in a second pressing. The band received five nominations for the 2003 Music PEI Awards.

Members of the band were: Craig MacDonald, guitar & vocals; Brady MacDonald, drums & vocals; Johnny Kelly, vocalist; Brett Oliver, guitar& vocals and Kyle Collings, bass & vocals.

The self titled first album was followed up by the aptly named Connecting Dots in May 2006. The tunes were more polished and radio friendly with an overall stronger punch than the first album. By the time the album came out the band had decided to call it quits. Eventually Craig and Brady ended up in Battery Point and Brett became a member of Intoxicado.

Chamberlane

The boys wear their influences proudly. Chamberlane comes to play what one critic called," big meaty rockers with plenty of sizzle." Their music has also been described as being from "the cigarettes and whiskey side" of 80's hard rock ,"where bands like G'nR and AC/DC hung out." Play it loud and enjoy.
