~ Out From Under ~

|
Out From Under represented the best of a rock & roll tradition. The Charlottetown based outfit took a lo-fi approach to recording and performing. You could say the lower, the better. Make the fans part of the process. Don’t worry about mistakes. After all it’s only rock & roll. Add a big dose of fun.
They were our most favorite six member garage rock/country/blues funky Jerry Garcia flavored rooty tooty heavenly hash dancing the night away band in the whole wide world.
You have to like a group of musicians who can whip up chili, corn bread and apple crisp and serve it at a show with a big helping of rock and roll fun to wash it down.. The sound was 3 guitars, drums, bass and mouth harp. The three guitars players have had their musical dna tested. The results showed they were the almost completely forgotten “love children” of Under The Hood. Their names were Wes Gallant, Jeff Cameron and Jeff Stewart.
The rhythm section featured Shayne Coady on drums and Joe McKenna on the bass. Playing mouth harp and rounding out the band was Alexander Reuss on mouth harp, a man who could get more sounds out of more mouth harps in one night than just about anyone we knew.. |
