~ The Blue Prints~
|
The Blueprints are a 3 piece electrified blues band based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. They play electric rockin' blues down & dirty.
The band started in 1998. They have graced the stages of many Island venues over the years. They have been nominated for PEI Music Awards in 2002, 2003 & 2004. They have performed at the 2003 PEI Music Awards Association Gala Awards Evening at the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside and at the Millennium Celebration at the Confederation Center for the Arts.
They shared stages with many blues acts including: The Rattlesnakin' Daddies, Theresa Mallefant ,Charlie A'Court, Matt Anderson, JP LeBlanc, Ross Neilson. and Scott Parsons.
They performed at the 1st annual PEI Jazz and Blues festival in 2005 and at the East Coast Music Awards during the "Breakfast with the Blues" portion of the show in 2006.
Current members include Mike Robicheau on guitar and vocals (he gets a BIG sound out of his souped up "evil twin" with many pedals and his late 70's Ibanez strat and 59er), Roger (Rog Mahal) Greaves on drums and vocals, and Chris Roumbanis on bass and vocals (with an old AMP amplifier and a Fender Zone Bass through a Harke Cabinet with celestian loaded and sometimes an octaver).

Blues With A Feeling
"Electric blues live from the floor! The tunes on this CD are classic blues; some obscure chestnuts and the occasional surprise as in their version of a John Prine tune. Sit back! Relax! Enjoy!"
